The HeatSync® STPC-300 Set-Top PC chassis is available in the classic horizontal version or the new Micro-Tower. The Micro-Tower design takes less space and fits easily along side a TV set or up on a bookcase out of the way.

The aluminum case and all aluminum brackets are treated by an anodizing process for corrosion protection and a long lasting uniform finish. The rear portion of chassis is black anodized. The faceplate and buttons can be either black or silver.

IR Receiver

IR Receiver and Remote

 
Faceplate is machined with a cutout to fit a infrared receiver sensor. Includes IR receiver, internal USB cable, and Media Center remote control. Receiver is pre-installed into case. The IR receiver works seamlessly with Windows Vista and Windows 7 Home Premium and Ultimate versions -no drivers required.

The standard hard drive installed is the Seagate Momentus 7200 RPM 2.5" drive. We also have the Seagate 5400 RPM drive and the new WD Scorpio Blue 5200 RPM drive with a 750GB capacity. These optional low RPM 2.5" drives run very quietly.

For total silence and extreme speed, a solid state drive (SSD) is the way to go. SSD prices have come way down lately making them a viable choice for your system. System boot-up time is typically 15 seconds and programs launch in the blink of an eye. The most noticeable performance increase for the cost.

Ceton InfiniTV 4 Tuner Card

 
We have integrated the Ceton InfiniTV 4 digital quad-tuner card into the chassis and rear panel. This tuner card allows you to record four digital cable or four over-the-air high-definition programs at the same time. The tuner functions are controlled within Windows Media Center which makes it very easy to program, record, and playback your programs. Connection to your antenna or cable is made from a single coaxial connector. Includes flex riser card.
